Cancellation Policy
Updated March 2023

Cancellations can only be received by email and must be acknowledged by us in the same way.  We cannot accept cancellations by telephone, SMS, Social Media messaging etc.

20% booking deposit is non-refundable however we WILL refund this payment IF we are able to re-sell your place.   Therefore the sooner you notify us of any cancellation the more chance you have of receiving a refund.

50% interim payments and 30% final payments are only refundable if we are able to re-sell your place.   Once again the sooner you notify us of any cancellation the more chance you have of receiving a refund.

Dive Insurance and Comprehensive Travel Insurance

Diving insurance is mandatory on all live-aboards and you will be asked to show proof of adequate cover when embarking any ship.  Remember that your dive computer records every depth on every dive so any sickness at any time that results in the need for medical attention and your insurance company will be looking for a reason not to cover you.

Free travel insurance from a credit card is unlikely to provide adequate cover i.e. multiple dives over multiple days and to depth of 40 meters.  You may not plan to dive that deep but it's when the unexpected happens that you are most likely to need medical care.

Comprehensive Travel Insurance: valid at the time of booking to cover any pre-departure cancellations should you have to cancel your trip for any reason such as illness or serious accident or any changes or cancellations to your travel plans, loss or damage to your luggage and contents.  You must be satisfied that your insurance fully covers all your personal requirements, including pre-existing conditions, cancellation charges, medical expenses and repatriation in the event of accident or illness whether diving related or otherwise.
