Malapascua Island, Philippines
Malapascua Island is located off the Northern tip of Cebu, in the Visayan region of the Philippines. The island is well known for the daily sightings of thresher sharks and more recently the chance to encounter tiger sharks. There is also incredible macro diving, colourful reefs and many other great dive sites both deep and shallow. Plus the best wreck dive in the Visayas on the Dona Marilyn. All of this makes Malapascua the best all around dive location in the Philippines. What have you been waiting for….? Malapascua Island, Philippines Package includes Marine Park Fees, breakfast and return transfers from Cebu airport or hotel to Maya Ferry Terminal with private boat transfer to Malapascua island and our resort (group transfer only). Package excludes extra dives: day dive P2,050 night dives P2,400, NITROX 325 per dive, 15L tank P120 per dive; equipment rental, other meals, transfers outside of the main group arrival and departure. Sorry there are no shore dives available. Deluxe Room 8 available Sharing P54,000 (approx. €860) Our host for this adventure is Evolution Dive Resort Evolution comes to us with several personal recommendations. The resort has Deluxe rooms furnished with one double bed and one single and a private balcony to relax after a great day of diving. Also available Standard Twin rooms with 2 single beds. All rooms have AC, mahogany furniture, minibar, hot shower, TV with digital library, complimentary tea/coffee. All rooms are just steps away from the fine white sand of Bounty Beach, where you can take a dip in the warm, blue water, read a book and enjoy a cocktail on a sun lounger. Payments at the Resort Wise the online transfer service is very much preferred. Credit cards and PayPal are also possible but with a 5% surcharge. Cash is always accepted. Arrival and Departure Mactan Cebu International airport is the closest airport and is serviced by many direct flights from international destinations, plus countless domestic routes if travelling within the Philippines. Arrival:- For people with enough time let’s meet Cebu City Friday 13 or Saturday 14 and explore the city and surrounding area. On the 15th we must depart Cebu no later than 13:00 to ensure making the last boat crossing. Departure Day:- first boats to the mainland are 6 am and we recommend leaving 6 hours before airport check in. That means midday check in at the earliest. Guests with flights earlier than 12pm will need to depart Malapascua the day prior and overnight in Cebu |
