The dive sites of the Southern Red Sea are not so often visited, although divers have been coming here for more than 20 years.  The Sudanese coasts offers some amazing Red Sea treasures. The numerous reefs are home to a very rich marine life.  Numerous sharks swim with schools of barracudas and bump parrot fish.  And meetings with hammerhead sharks are always possible.

Sudan also has a rich submarine history:  the Umbria, an Italian ship scuttled in 1940 when Italy joined World War II is a magnificent wreck today. Follow the guide to discover engine-room, bombs and ammunitions freights, under the inquisitive look of the Arabian angel fishes.
