Rainbow-Scuba & Tour is the brain child of Adam Preston. Born and raised in London, England, Adam spent many years dreaming of an escape from office life and the overcrowded big city and then made it happen.
In 2002 he took a career break from his job in Information Technology and moved to Thailand. Since then he has been exploring the mountains and forests of Koh Samui and the mainland provinces as well as teaching and studying scuba diving in various locations around the Kingdom.
"It was just sheer magic of a wet dream of totally new kind. The very friendly staff headed by Adam Preston made this a great holiday I can thoroughly recommend". Anton from Australia
Adam led as much of an active outdoor lifestyle as he could in the UK and was surprised to see so little available for the lesbian and gay community in Thailand.
In most western nations there are gay clubs for skiing, walking, running, swimming, stamp collecting, football: almost any sport or hobby you can imagine.
"Thank you for making my diving fun and relax. You are a great instructor. I wish I can be like you someday, diving with new friends and enjoy the beaty of the nature at the same time. Take good care". Sean, Malaysia
Although Thailand is famous for its mountains; trekking; tropical islands and beaches, the old fashion gay scene centered on boy shows, massage, bars and night clubs.
Rainbow-Scuba & Tour hopes to change that and at the same time provide gay Thai people with a positive role model - an alternative to the commercial pressures of the gay scene.
Rainbow-Scuba & Tour provides exclusive outdoor adventure tours for lesbian and gay people in Thailand. It works with carefully selected businesses which are owned and operated by lesbian, gay or bisexual people. Where this is not possible we can always promise our colleagues are 100% gay friendly.
"We really enjoyed the trip with Adam. Opting for a private tour instead of one of the hotel tours, was the best thing we could have done. Adam collected us from our hotel, and we drove around the island, taking in the scenery and being able to stop where and when we liked. It was indeed a great experience. Thanks Adam!" Dan and Jakes, Taiwan

"Adam is an excellent guide and host. He knows Samui well and introduced me to the easy-going and welcoming gay scene. I met some really great people. Even though I was only there for a few days he put together several interesting and fun activities for me and I had a great time." Floyd, New York
